soft(spaces) terms & conditions

These terms and conditions govern your membership at soft(spaces). By accepting membership, you agree to abide by the following:

1. Membership Application

All applications for membership must be submitted via our official application process. The soft(spaces) Membership Committee will review applications, and acceptance will be confirmed by email. Membership becomes active upon receipt of your membership fee. We reserve the right to decline membership applications or renewals based on committee decisions.

2. Membership Fees and Payment

Membership fees must be paid upon approval or renewal of your membership. Membership fees are due monthly and will automatically renew each month on the same day you initially signed up. By joining, you agree to allow soft(spaces) to charge your provided payment method on a recurring basis until you choose to cancel. Any changes in fees will be communicated in advance. Members are responsible for maintaining valid payment information. Any failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of membership.

3. Membership Renewal and Termination

Membership is renewable on a monthly basis and subject to review. Members who violate the standards of behavior or these terms and conditions may have their membership suspended or terminated without refund. Members may resign by notifying soft(spaces) in writing, but fees are non-refundable for the remaining term.

4. Use of Facilities

Members are expected to use soft(spaces) facilities responsibly and in a manner that respects the rights of others. Facilities are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and soft(spaces) reserves the right to restrict access for maintenance, private events, or other operational needs.

5. soft(spaces) Residences Cancellation Policy

This agreement is between “the member” or "the guest" whose name appears on the booking confirmation as “Member Name” or “Guest Name” and soft(spaces). A credit card is required to guarantee the total amount of the reservation, stay, or booking, regardless of your final payment method. Full payment (100%) of the total amount must be made before the member’s or guest’s arrival date. Once payment is received and the reservation is confirmed, you have up to 24 hours to cancel for a full refund (minus any processing fees). After the 24-hour window following confirmation, payment becomes 100% non-refundable.

6. Intellectual Property and Trademarks

soft(spaces) logos, trademarks, and branding are the exclusive property of soft(spaces). Members and guests may not use, reproduce, or distribute any soft(spaces) intellectual property without prior written consent from the management team.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Members agree to the collection and use of their personal information for the purposes of membership management. This includes contact details and a photograph. soft(spaces) is committed to protecting your privacy and will not share your personal information without your consent, except as required by law.

8. Consent for Contact

soft(spaces) and its affiliates may collect personally identifiable information that you voluntarily provide. This includes, but is not limited to, your name, email, mailing address, phone number, and information regarding your stay. You grant soft(spaces) the right to use this information for customer service, marketing, or to comply with legal requirements. You also consent to being photographed and/or recorded during your stay for marketing purposes on social media or other platforms.

By providing your phone number(s) and email address, you consent to receiving calls, texts, and emails from soft(spaces), including promotional, marketing, or emergency messages. This consent is not required to receive services from soft(spaces), and you are responsible for updating your contact information.

9. Safety and Security

For the safety of all members, we prohibit the use, possession, or distribution of illegal substances on soft(spaces) property. Members are not permitted to bring weapons, including firearms, onto the premises. Any member found violating these rules will be subject to immediate expulsion.

10. Behavioral Expectations and Enforcement

Members must comply with soft(spaces) Standards of Behavior, as well as any additional house rules. Disruptive, abusive, or illegal behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action, including termination of membership.

11. Smoking and Vaping

soft(spaces) is 420 friendly, allowing the smoking of weed and the use of vapes in designated outdoor areas. Smoking and vaping are prohibited in common areas. Please note that cigarette smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the premises.

12. Property Loss or Damage

Members are responsible for any loss or damage they cause to soft(spaces) property. soft(spaces) is not liable for personal items lost, stolen, or damaged while on the premises.

13. Liability Waiver

soft(spaces) is not responsible for any loss of personal belongings during your stay, and it is advised that you take care of all valuable items. soft(spaces) is also not responsible for injuries or illnesses incurred on the property.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless soft(spaces) and its owners, employees, contractors, and staff from any claims arising out of any injury, loss, or illness during your stay. You are responsible for any litigation costs incurred by soft(spaces) in enforcing this agreement, including court and attorney fees.

soft(spaces) is not liable for infrastructural issues beyond its control, such as power, WiFi, or water outages.

14. Compliance with Laws

Members are required to comply with all local, state, and federal laws while on soft(spaces) premises. This includes fire codes, health and safety regulations, and anti-discrimination laws.

At soft(spaces), we aim to cultivate a warm, inclusive, and creative environment for all our members, guests, and staff. To ensure that this community thrives, we ask that all participants follow our standards of conduct:

1. Kindness, Inclusion, and Respect

soft(spaces) is a community where diversity is celebrated and every member is treated with respect, regardless of gender, race, religion, political beliefs, sexuality, or physical ability. We expect members and their guests to uphold these values, fostering an atmosphere of compassion and understanding.

2. Positive Engagement

Our members are encouraged to engage with each other in a manner that is considerate and inclusive. Harassment, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind, including racism, sexism, homophobia, or ableism, will not be tolerated. Members are asked to contribute positively to the space, respecting the varied experiences and viewpoints of others.

3. Responsible Behavior

While fun and relaxation are key aspects of our space, members are expected to behave responsibly. Overconsumption of alcohol or use of drugs that leads to disruptive or inappropriate behavior is unacceptable. Any action that disturbs the peace, safety, or enjoyment of other members will result in disciplinary action.

4. Environmental Stewardship

We are committed to maintaining a sustainable and eco-friendly environment. Members are encouraged to reduce waste, recycle, and be mindful of energy and resource consumption while at soft(spaces).

5. Reporting Concerns

We are always striving to create the best possible experience for our members. If you witness or experience any issues, please speak to a member of our team or contact us directly. Your feedback helps us to maintain our commitment to a safe, welcoming environment.

These Terms & Conditions and Community Standards & Space Principles are in place to ensure that soft(spaces) remains a respectful, safe, and enjoyable space for all. We thank you for helping us maintain these standards and contributing positively to the community.

soft(spaces) reserves the right to update, amend, or modify these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Standards & Space Principles, at any time and at our sole discretion. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or through other forms of communication. It is the responsibility of the member or guest to review these terms periodically to stay informed of any updates. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms and conditions.
